The Project Management Associate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing complex population health initiatives and implementation strategies, while leading a diverse team of professionals. This position requires close collaboration with Managers, Program Directors, and Executive Leaders to ensure effective program oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of significant projects and programs.
  • Develop and maintain essential project documentation, including project plans, schedules, charters, and scopes, while also managing meeting notes, risk logs, and RACI matrices.
  • Execute project tasks and follow up with responsible parties as necessary, facilitating meetings to ensure progress.
  • Coordinate both internal and external communications to guarantee high-quality service delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Review compliance documents annually and summarize any changes.
  • Support the creation and delivery of training related to program compliance and operations.
  • Prepare necessary program agreement documentation.
  • Contribute to Project Quality Improvement initiatives and Change Management processes.
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts to prepare and analyze data files.
  • Compile program summaries and executive reports for leadership review.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, public health, or management; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is essential.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required within one year of employment.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in project management or a related field.
  • Lean Sigma certification is preferred (or must be obtained within six months of employment).
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven capability to manage a project team in a virtual environment.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
  • Capacity to multitask and manage various project components simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strategic thinking and vision.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Conflict resolution expertise.
  • Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), databases, and knowledge of EMRs and project management applications (e.g., Microsoft Project, SmartSheet).
  • Ability to work remotely from a home office, with a reliable high-speed internet connection and effective communication tools.
