Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Analyst to join our team at the Department of The Air Force. As a Management Analyst, you will play a critical role in planning, organizing, and overseeing the activities of the Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate program goals, plans, policies, and procedures to drive the development and operation of center-wide manpower functions and activities.
  • Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities, including advising and counseling employees on policies, procedures, and directives.
  • Develop long-range plans and objectives to support the center's mission areas, and lead and/or monitor projects to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with and represent the Department of The Air Force to other military departments and government agencies, and liaise with subject matter experts to resolve mutual problems and coordinate actions.
  • Direct management actions required to be accomplished by the Center, and coordinate staff functions/activities to ensure Center objectives are met.
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Two-year DCIPS trial period
  • PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations
  • Direct Deposit Required
  • Employee must maintain current certifications
  • Disclosure of Political Appointments
Qualifications
  • GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS)
  • Senior work level and equivalent to GS-14 level
  • Qualifications in relation to the job
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Extensive knowledge of civilian personnel management, manpower management, related management information systems, and common project management practices, procedures, regulations, precedents, guidelines, concepts, principles, and practices.
  • Knowledge of the JIOWC mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operations to effectively implement policy and develop guidance, standards, and procedures that affect center-wide personnel.
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques to apply a wide range of methods for assessing, developing, and directing plans and programs; DOD, Joint, and Air Force management engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies; and financial management directives, concepts, procedures, guidance, and policy.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and supervise, mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of the division.
  • Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of subordinate organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.
  • Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy.
