Compensation Details

Salary range for the Washington, DC area:

  • GG-11: $82,764 - $107,590
  • GG-12: $99,200 - $128,596
  • GG-13: $117,962 - $153,354

Job Overview

As a Budget Analyst, you will collaborate with contracting and technical teams to ensure the allocation of financial resources is effectively managed for mission success. Your duties will encompass budget development, program expenditure plans, and financial assessments to support program managers and NRO leadership.

Key Duties

  • Creating budgets to align with plans, programs, and activities
  • Formulating program expenditure plans and evaluating contractor performance
  • Drafting multi-year funding strategies for programs
  • Conducting analysis and providing recommendations to resolve budgetary issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with federal budgeting processes
  • Expertise in financial databases and spreadsheet applications
