Position Title: Renewable Energy Sales Consultant

As an integral part of our organization, you will need to be highly self-driven and committed to maintaining client relationships after educating them about solar energy systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with homeowners both in person and over the phone are essential.

Applicants should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in photovoltaic (PV) solar technology. Familiarity with Solargraf is advantageous and will be considered a significant asset. While prior experience in the solar industry is preferred, we provide comprehensive training to ensure you are equipped for success, with the potential to earn over $100,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a designated territory with a population of approximately 10,000 residents.
  • Become knowledgeable about renewable energy and smart home technologies and their advantages for consumers.
  • Assist families in reducing their energy costs through our customer-centric sales approach.
  • Confidently finalize contracts with new clients while gaining expertise in business development.
  • Conduct outreach to potential customers through cold calls or by responding to inquiries.
  • Establish rapport with clients by introducing them to solar energy products.
  • Address customer inquiries and tailor solutions to meet their needs.
  • Engage in business-to-consumer sales both in-person and virtually, managing projects from start to finish.
  • Prepare for client meetings by developing proposals, presentations, and energy assessments.
  • Deliver impactful and informative presentations tailored to each client, ensuring a positive experience at every meeting.
  • Achieve or surpass monthly sales targets and revenue objectives.
  • Maintain records of leads, opportunities, and all communications using CRM software.
  • Update client appointment notes promptly in the CRM system.
  • Discuss options confidently and finalize contracts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and generate referral sales.
  • Identify potential customers to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Complete and submit all necessary documentation for each project.
  • Participate in company events to generate leads and sales.
  • Engage in ongoing training and team meetings.
  • Network to discover opportunities for client engagement.
  • Represent the ProSolar Systems Caribbean brand effectively.
  • Stay informed about the latest solar energy products, technologies, and financing options.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills:
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Proven experience in solar sales is required.
  • Demonstrated sales experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of Solargraf is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in PV solar technology.
  • Enthusiastic representation of our company and its offerings.
  • Ability to present information persuasively.
  • Competitive mindset.
  • Capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations (both residential and commercial).
  • Availability to work six days a week, including evenings and weekends, with some on-call responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive earning potential, with first-year sales representatives averaging between $90,000 and $140,000, and top performers earning significantly more.
  • Bonus and commission opportunities.
