Job Description

Job Title: Home Care Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Home Care Consultant to join our team at Home Instead Senior Care. As a Home Care Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of revenue objectives for your assigned territory. This includes researching and developing client relationships, producing referrals, and performing all phases of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Development: Research and develop client relationships and produce referrals through cold calls, follow-up calls, and diagnosis of referral source and client needs.
  • Sales Process: Perform all phases of the sales process, including preparation and documentation of sales calls, follow-up calls, and recommendation of appropriate Home Instead services and additional community resources.
  • Market Share Growth: Achieve inquiry generation objectives for assigned territory with the primary goal of bringing in new business to increase overall market share.
  • Sales and Marketing Plans: Develop and maintain knowledge of Home Instead brand and effectively present marketing materials and services to referral providers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within the assigned territory.

Requirements:

  • Education: College equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in home care, hospice, home health, home care, senior care, or related industry.
  • Skills: Professional appearance and demeanor, patient and congenial, effective presenting to both small and large audiences, demonstrated computer skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Availability: Availability to work weekends as necessary.
