  • You will engage in programming using C++, ensuring a thorough understanding of latency, thread safety, and data management between hardware interfaces.
  • Your work will include interfacing with embedded hardware systems and sensors, requiring a solid grasp of electrical interfaces and communication protocols.
  • You will document your code, utilize our CI/CD frameworks, connect network systems, and effectively communicate your progress and requirements with the team.
Qualifications:

You meet our basic qualifications if you...

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience with hardware-in-the-loop systems, embedded systems, or C++ 6-DOF simulations.
  • Are proficient in software programming and have experience with highly multi-threaded systems and object-oriented programming.
  • Possess a deep understanding of electrical signals and the communication methods of embedded systems.
  • Can obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and ultimately achieve a Secret level clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

You will stand out if you...

  • Have extensive experience in designing and implementing hardware-in-the-loop test environments.
  • Have developed high-fidelity (6-DOF) software simulations for aerial platforms such as missiles and aircraft.
  • Are familiar with weapon systems, including missiles, seekers, and naval platforms.
  • Have knowledge of technologies such as CUDA, FPGAs, compilers, MPSoC, networking protocols, Python, Matlab, or Simulink.
  • Exhibit a strong desire to learn new skills through various methods, including documentation, classes, and hands-on experimentation.
