We are in search of a proactive, innovative, and ambitious leader to assist us in delivering impactful analyses on cutting-edge weapon systems while enhancing our capability to produce exceptional, impartial analytical outputs. You will become part of a dedicated team of technical specialists committed to advancing modeling, simulation, and analysis.
Our team comprises over 40 engineers, physicists, mathematicians, and computer scientists who conduct mission-level analyses to inform acquisition decisions on critical precision strike technologies. Our work is sophisticated, engaging, and often significantly influences Department of Defense initiatives. We prioritize building strong, effective teams, continuously enhancing our skills, fostering collaborative relationships, and promoting a workplace culture that values integrity, trust, teamwork, accountability, and a touch of enjoyment.
As a Technical Lead, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading small teams in assessing the effectiveness of precision strike and/or air combat systems using various mission-level analysis tools to uncover valuable insights, inform conclusions, and support decision-making.
- Providing technical guidance and task management to ensure the delivery of high-quality, insightful, and timely analyses.
- Assisting in the creation of detailed task execution plans that outline objectives, technical approaches, schedules, deliverables, staffing needs, and other essential resources.
- Maintaining regular communication with stakeholders to offer technical recommendations and direction while developing and integrating analytical capabilities.
- Engaging in independent research projects that foster innovative solutions and reward initiative.
You will meet our minimum qualifications if you:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Have demonstrated excellence in conducting and leading mission-level modeling, simulation, and analysis.
- Possess experience in areas such as air vehicle survivability analysis, electronic warfare analysis, simulation development, operational planning, and end-to-end kill-chain analysis.
- Can effectively collaborate in a team-oriented environment and communicate complex ideas to government personnel, military officers, and other contractors.
- Are proficient in quantitative analysis and can quickly grasp new and exciting concepts.
- Are eligible to obtain a Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately secure a Top Secret level clearance, subject to a government security clearance investigation and U.S. citizenship requirements.
You will exceed our minimum requirements if you:
- Hold a Master's or PhD degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Have experience using analysis tools such as AFSIM, Brawler, Suppressor, JIMM, or EADSIM for mission-level survivability and effectiveness analysis of combat aircraft and strike weapon systems.
- Possess an active Top-Secret security clearance.
