Responsibilities:

  • As a vital member of the healthcare team at Catherine Dambrosio, the Registered Nurse (RN) operates within the defined Scope of Practice, aligning with the ANA Scope and Standards for Pediatric Nursing Practice.
  • The RN adheres strictly to the organization's policies, procedures, and care guidelines while delivering safe, family-centered patient care.
  • Utilizing the Nursing Care Process, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care collaboratively with patients, their families, and fellow healthcare team members.
  • The role includes supervising and delegating tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants and others in accordance with state regulations.
  • The RN actively contributes to achieving the organization's mission and goals by integrating initiatives such as Values-Based Behavior and Healthy Work Environment into daily operations.

Requirements:

Required Education/Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN/BSN or higher)
  • Previous experience in a pediatric healthcare setting

Required Credentials:

  • Current RN License in the relevant state of employment.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers is mandatory upon hire. Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are acceptable substitutes for BLS. ACLS is not accepted as a substitute.
  • A copy of the highest level of academic achievement must be on record with Human Resources upon hire, or for personnel trained outside of the U.S., a documented equivalency evaluation by a foreign credentialing agency.
  • Food Handler's Certification

Preferred:

  • Pediatric healthcare nursing experience.

Compensation details: $42-$60 Hourly Wage

Annual Salary: $87,360 - $124,800

This compensation range is based on full-time employment and is influenced by factors such as equity, skills, experience, and expertise.

Incentive Pay: Annual incentive pay based on performance, commensurate with the position level.
