About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate NICU Nurse to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. As a NICU Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neonatologists, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and excellence by identifying and reporting near misses and adverse events.
  • Provide education and support to families, including counseling and guidance on neonatal care and developmental needs.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Current National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in NICU nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current National Certification in neonatal nursing.
