The Technical Customer Associate plays a vital role in managing customer accounts and ensuring seamless communication regarding service inquiries. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of customer interactions and supporting the sales team in both acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address customer inquiries related to waste management options, pricing structures, and compliance regulations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Review and process incoming waste profile documentation for accuracy, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained.
- Input critical data into company systems, including profile details and confirmation communications.
- Coordinate waste pickup schedules by liaising with relevant personnel and providing necessary information.
- Examine billing documentation for accuracy, ensuring coding aligns with contractual agreements and making adjustments as needed.
- Engage with clients to promote additional services and reinforce existing partnerships.
- Assist internal teams in understanding contract specifications and regulatory requirements to enhance service delivery.
- Prepare and process Certificates of Tracking and Certificates of Destruction as required.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience: A background of 1 to 3 years in the hazardous waste sector or a related industry is advantageous.
Skills: Strong report creation abilities, excellent teamwork and communication skills, effective time management, and a customer-focused mindset are essential. Proficiency in computer applications is also required.
