Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist with Excellent Training

The role of an AR Specialist at Crossroads Treatment Center is multifaceted and demanding. Key responsibilities include performing duties and responsibilities in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies. AR Specialists must utilize industry knowledge to resolve new and aged accounts receivables by working various account types, including professional claims, governmental and/or non-governmental claims, denied claims, aged accounts, high-priority accounts, high-dollar accounts, reimbursements, credits, and more. Effective communication with payer resources through various channels is essential to achieving payment resolutions and maintaining quality and productivity results.
Key skills and qualifications for this position include at least two years of accounts receivable experience in a physician office setting, general knowledge of HCPCS, CPT-4, and ICD-10 coding, and familiarity with multiple payer requirements and regulations for claims processing. A high school diploma or equivalent is also required.
