Key Responsibilities:
The Customer Service Operations Lead is tasked with overseeing store operations and personnel in the absence of the store manager and assistant manager.
This role ensures adherence to company policies and procedures while delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining store safety, and upholding store appearance.
Primary Duties Include:
Responsibilities:
- Guarantee a quality shopping experience for all customers
- Complete daily bank deposits by noon
- Review end-of-day reports and assist in preparing daily banking paperwork as assigned by management
- Mentor and guide employees to deliver outstanding customer service
- Maintain cleanliness standards both inside and outside the store
- Conduct light equipment and yard maintenance
- Order and receive merchandise in accordance with inventory guidelines
- Implement all promotional initiatives set by the company
- Maintain cash and inventory control during all supervised shifts
- Manage pricebook updates
- Order merchandise as needed
- Audit cashier paperwork for accuracy
- Report environmental, maintenance issues, and unusual occurrences to management
- Communicate effectively with associates and customers
- Accurately count, read, and write to fulfill job requirements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
- Strong communication skills with associates and customers
- Attendance at mandatory meetings (e.g., T.A.M., sexual harassment training) is required
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting of 1 to 15 lbs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Reach above shoulder height and bend below waist
- Access all areas of the store freely
- Move quickly around the store
