Position Summary
The Retail Associate plays a crucial role in collaborating with the management team to ensure that every visitor enjoys a superior level of hospitality and has a positive cannabis experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing information about state cannabis regulations and programs.
  • Engaging in community events both inside and outside the dispensary.
  • Performing various front-of-house tasks, including Reception, Hosting, Sales Floor Consulting, and Cashiering.

The Retail Associate is also responsible for product organization, inventory management, guest communication, and handling back-of-house tasks such as Receiving, Packaging, Stocking, Online Ordering, Order Dispatching, and Delivering.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all site protocols and procedures in accordance with local and state regulations and company policies.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, demonstrating authentic engagement and high productivity.
  • Deliver exceptional service to all guests, offering tailored recommendations on cannabis products, industry trends, and consumption methods.
  • Accurately fulfill product orders while maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
  • Manage cash transactions with precision.
  • Assist with various tasks as assigned to support team and company success.
Compensation
$18.00 Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Paid bi-weekly.
Position Schedule
Full-time availability is required, including weekends.
Skills and Competencies
  • Proven customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong cash handling skills with experience in POS systems.
  • Basic math, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of following instructions and working independently or collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, problem-solving, and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
  • Dedicated to team success.
Qualifications
  • Preferred retail experience of 1+ years.
  • Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid government-issued photo ID.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card as per state law.

Working Conditions
Physical exertion is required, including bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), kneeling, squatting, and carrying items regularly. Employees will be expected to stand for extended periods and may need to operate equipment or climb ladders.

The work environment may experience varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to dust, cleaning solutions, and other materials. Safety protocols must be followed, and appropriate protective equipment should be worn as necessary.
