Customer Relations Manager

- Assist in the planning and execution of daily operations and sales within the rental division.
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers to identify and develop connections with potential and existing clients.
- Evaluate and coordinate the appropriate rental equipment for customer needs.
- Manage all rental agreements, sales contracts, and credit adjustments for clients at the rental facility.
- Support inventory management for all assets, including parts and fleet.
- Work with the service department to ensure readiness of rental, sales, and demonstration equipment.
- Perform additional tasks, assignments, and special projects as necessary.
- Effectively communicate the advantages of products to potential customers based on their specific requirements, both over the phone and in person.
- Research competitors to enhance the rental center's ability to meet customer demands.
- Be prepared to respond to calls on a company-issued mobile device outside of regular working hours.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% as needed.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a heavy equipment or machinery setting.
- At least 1 year of sales experience in an equipment or parts environment.
- Capability to tow non-commercial trailer-mounted equipment with a 3/4 or 1-ton truck.
- Proficient in safely operating a forklift for loading and maneuvering equipment onto trucks.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and JDEdwards (Oracle-based).
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating initiative and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
