Position Summary: Tidal Basin is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Office Coordinator to facilitate the daily functions of the office environment. The primary goal of the Office Coordinator is to manage routine office operations, which include ordering supplies, overseeing the sign-in and sign-out procedures, ensuring the security of the facility, and providing support to program staff and visitors. Furthermore, the Office Coordinator will assist with basic IT setup tasks, such as configuring laptops, monitors, and docking stations, while collaborating with IT remotely to maintain updated office workstations and network equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver administrative support to promote efficient office operations.
- Handle phone inquiries, coordinate meetings and appointments, and manage calendars.
- Execute administrative tasks, develop and maintain both electronic and physical filing systems.
- Draft communications including memorandums, invoices, emails, reports, and other correspondence.
- Fulfill operational requirements by scheduling and assigning tasks, ensuring timely completion of work.
- Demonstrate courteous and professional communication through phone, email, and mail.
- Maintain and update various databases and schedules as necessary.
- Assist the team by performing tasks that require strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ensure the functionality of office equipment by performing preventive maintenance, arranging repairs, managing equipment inventories, and evaluating new tools and techniques.
- Provide information by responding to inquiries and requests.
- Manage supply inventory by monitoring stock levels, anticipating needs, and placing orders for supplies.
- Contribute to team objectives by achieving related results as required.
- Exhibit the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Perform basic IT setup tasks, including configuring laptops, monitors, and docking stations.
- Collaborate with IT remotely to ensure office workstations and network equipment are current.
- Assist remote IT personnel in setting up office equipment as needed.

Compensation: $38-$42.50 per hour
