Position Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by overseeing the quality of our cleaning staff and guaranteeing that rooms are cleaned efficiently and thoroughly. This key position may also involve assisting with laundry services and fulfilling guest requests. A combination of leadership and instructional skills is necessary to guide the team towards success.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections of guest rooms to uphold our high cleanliness standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to housekeepers on areas needing improvement.
  • Evaluate each housekeeper's methods to enhance efficiency and reduce confusion.
  • Facilitate communication between the front desk and housekeeping staff.
  • Perform cleaning and servicing of designated hotel rooms or areas, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing refrigerators and bathrooms, and removing trash.
  • Assist with laundry services as needed.
  • Notify supervisors promptly upon completion of service to allow for room occupancy.
  • Report any rooms that cannot be serviced to the supervisor.
  • Manage and monitor supplies and amenities to minimize waste in all housekeeping areas.
  • Document and return all lost and found items according to established protocols.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests.
  • Alert supervisors to necessary repairs or unsafe conditions without delay.
  • Bilingual candidates, particularly in Spanish, are encouraged to apply.
Work Schedule:
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Day shifts, 5 days per week
Experience Required:
  • 3 - 5 years in cleaning roles (Required)
