Position Overview: A Room Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that guest accommodations are kept clean and inviting. This position involves daily servicing of guest rooms, maintaining cleanliness in hallways and public spaces, and adhering to the hotel’s operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with guests and team members in a courteous and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain consistent attendance in line with MKM Hotels standards, adapting to the hotel’s scheduling needs.
  • Uphold high standards of personal grooming and appearance, including wearing the designated uniform and name tag.
  • Adhere to MKM Hotels regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Thoroughly clean and replenish the designated number of guest rooms during each shift.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, such as preparing guest supplies and cleaning materials for the housekeeping cart.
  • Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest accommodations.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor or management.
  • May require disassembling furniture or items in guest rooms for deep cleaning purposes.
  • Deep cleaning responsibilities may include changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, and addressing minor furniture repairs.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Quickly assess and choose among alternative courses of action.
  • Ability to perform well in high-pressure situations.

Compensation: $16.50 per hour
