Job Overview:
The Production Assembler is responsible for executing a range of tasks to construct and evaluate valves within a designated work area, adhering to product specifications and quality benchmarks. The role is crucial in achieving production objectives to ensure timely delivery of superior products to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble valves under guidance within the designated operational unit.
- Achieve productivity goals for assigned tasks.
- Adhere to established protocols for assembly setup and execution.
- Conduct inspections and tests on each product to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Package products appropriately for distribution.
- Implement standard operating procedures to complete tasks accurately; identify and rectify errors while maintaining attention to detail.
- Collaborate with team members to meet or exceed production expectations; manage time effectively to prioritize tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a tidy and organized workspace, exercising sound safety judgment.
- Familiarize oneself with ISO procedures and the location of relevant documentation.
- Contribute ideas during team improvement discussions and meetings.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: 0 - 3 months in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Willingness to learn and maintain necessary skills to fulfill job responsibilities; open to new assignments and cross-training.
- Ability to work effectively in assigned areas.
Problem-Solving Skills:
- Collaborate with team members to address issues.
- Engage in improvement initiatives and participate in relevant meetings.
- Learn structured problem-solving techniques and provide suggestions for enhancements.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Dependable and punctual with a strong attendance record.
- Ability to work well with others, demonstrating professionalism and respect.
- Actively participate in team dynamics and manage conflicts effectively.
Communication Skills:
- Capable of reading, understanding, and following instructions in English.
- Provide timely feedback and maintain clear communication with team members.
Physical Requirements:
