Shift Details: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 4:00pm - 12:30am

Role Responsibilities: As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will lead your designated team and area within the warehouse, ensuring that our operations function seamlessly. Your leadership will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding daily solutions for our clients.

Daily Tasks Include:

  • Supervising operational workflows to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Assessing workload and delegating tasks to team members.
  • Providing training and coaching to the warehouse staff, while promoting positive development opportunities; recommending performance improvement actions as necessary.
  • Effectively utilizing the warehouse management system and maintaining relevant documentation.
  • Establishing and promoting exceptional customer service standards.
  • Interpreting and enforcing company policies and safety protocols to ensure compliance.
  • Safely operating various warehouse equipment and tools.
  • Offering support and backup to warehouse management as needed.

Qualifications:

To succeed at GXO, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • At least 1 year of experience with SAP.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanning devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may involve weekends.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 75 lbs. occasionally.
  • Operate a reach truck or cherry picker to heights exceeding 23 feet.
  • Tolerate varying temperatures in a warehouse environment.
