As a key member of the Scientific Applications Support team, you will engage in providing exceptional support for genomic applications. Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, prompt designs for xGen hybridization and amplicon custom panels during the pre-sales phase.
- Offer technical product assistance to clients through presentations, conference calls, and email correspondence.
- Collaborate with various IDT service departments and sales teams to address product inquiries and customer concerns.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all customer interactions in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Provide design and analytical support for collaborative projects and the development of next-generation sequencing (NGS) applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biology, Chemistry, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
- Extensive knowledge of NGS applications, with a minimum of three years of experience in the genomics sector.
- Proven experience in designing custom capture panels for target enrichment, with at least one year of relevant experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
- Ability to comprehend and articulate complex scientific, interpersonal, regulatory, and business matters.
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biology, Chemistry, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Experience in customer support or a client-facing role.
- In-depth theoretical knowledge and practical experience in NGS library preparation and targeted resequencing workflows.
- Familiarity with NGS bioinformatics algorithms/software, including proficiency in Python and Galaxy.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is competitive and reflective of the skills and experience required. Additionally, this role is eligible for bonus and incentive pay.
