Key Responsibilities:

  • Work at the intersection of AI and biology to propel the field forward.
  • Drive dataset creation and curation for the development and evaluation of multimodal biological frontier models.
  • Advance frontier applications of AI in biology, including molecular design and engineering.
  • Contribute to model interpretability, capability analysis, and deepen model understanding.
  • Collaborate directly with researchers, engineers, and scientists at our partners to deploy our technology and research towards their business.
  • Engage the wider scientific community through impactful publications and open source releases.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with deep learning models with PyTorch or equivalent libraries.
  • Expertise analyzing biological data modalities such as DNA, metagenomic, protein, structural, single cell, or imaging data.
  • Industry experience in early stage drug development or molecular engineering (biologics, cell therapy or gene therapy preferred).
  • Ability to plan and run computational biology experiments, analyze and communicate outcomes.
