Loan Officer Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Loan Officer Assistant to join our team at Coldwell Banker Premier LLC. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of loan officer experience and be registered with the NMLS.
The Loan Officer Assistant will be responsible for:
- Creating loan disclosures for distribution to clients, ensuring compliance with state-specific guidelines and all required fields are completed
- Following up with clients to e-sign disclosures within compliance mandatory turn times
- Reviewing returned applications and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
- Learning the ins and outs of various lenders we work with and navigating their broker portal
- Running AUS and reviewing for findings and required documentation
- Ordering title documents, credit supplements, verification of employment, etc. and conducting regular follow-ups with clients and referral sources
- Maintaining regular communication with borrowers throughout the processing period, assisting the processing team with answering borrower's questions and notifying them of any additional information required
- Submitting loan file allowing for stated turn times
- Maintaining pipeline of all loans in process, tracking their progress, and meeting all contractual deadlines
- Meets or exceeds minimum production requirements
- Staying informed of trends and developments in the local real estate market and competitive environment, as well as changes in rules and regulations pertaining to both private and government-insured mortgages
- Maintaining a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures
- Reporting to Branch Manager
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years loan officer experience, or industry equivalent
- NMLS registration is required
- Proven ability to read, write and communicate at a level consistent with the requirements of this position and to generate independent leads for new business and professionally communicate with existing and past clients
- Working knowledge of standard loan products in the industry and strong familiarity with underwriting guidelines
- Software competence with Microsoft Office prod. and Google Office prod. Experience with ARIVE LOS software a plus
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Fair Housing regulations: 1 year (Preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
- Loan origination: 1 year (Required)
