Position Overview

The Program Security Specialist (PSS) plays a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive information within special access programs (SAPs). This position demands a skilled security professional who will oversee the management, administration, and development of security protocols tailored to meet stringent contractual obligations beyond standard regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison with government entities concerning security requirements for assigned programs.
  • Report directly to the Director of Security, with additional reporting to the Assistant Director in their absence.
  • Ensure compliance with security regulations and maintain the integrity of security operations.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in security management.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a CPSO or in a similar role managing SAP-related programs in secure facilities.
  • Proficient in 32 CFR Part 117 and NISPOM regulations.
  • Experience with security management software, including JADE and Scattered Castles.
  • Knowledge of TEMPEST countermeasures and assessments.
  • Completion of relevant DCSA security courses is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
  • In-depth understanding of DoD organizations and security systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with senior government officials and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Employment Conditions

Must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance, with SCI eligibility preferred.

Physical Demands
