Job Overview:
The EHR Epic Analyst will undertake critical functions as an Epic Application Coordinator/Analyst, focusing on the development and support of various EpicCare Inpatient modules. The primary areas of focus include Clinical Documentation, Secure Chat & Rover, Clinical Case Management, Behavioral Health, and Long-Term Care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main support contact for assigned Epic modules, addressing and coordinating all project-related issues.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the organization's policies, procedures, and operational workflows.
  • Provide support to end-users, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
  • Engage in the development, design, configuration, scripting, testing, and support of applications relevant to business and research functions.
  • Utilize programming skills to create solutions for daily operational challenges, including the maintenance and enhancement of complex applications.
  • Assess hardware and software requirements to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and resolve application-related issues promptly.
  • Facilitate workflow design, system testing, and troubleshoot technical issues associated with Epic software.
  • Implement requested changes to the system as necessary.
  • Serve as a bridge between end-users and Epic implementation teams.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Epic representatives and participate in project team meetings.
  • Understand operational needs through site visits and integrated sessions to guide workflow direction.
  • Regularly review project statuses and issues with leadership.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with team members to discuss deliverables, issues, user concerns, and project milestones.
Required Qualifications:
  • Current Epic certification in EpicCare Inpatient modules including Clinical Documentation, Secure Chat & Rover, Clinical Case Management, Behavioral Health, and Long-Term Care.
  • Experience in Epic implementation or operational support.
  • Background in Health IT.
  • Familiarity with Epic tools such as Clinical Case Management, Rover, MyChart Bedside, and Epic Monitor.
  • Understanding of clinical workflows and regulatory requirements, particularly in behavioral health settings.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
  • Knowledge of billing workflows and system integration.
  • Experience in application development and project management.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on quality assurance and testing.
