Position Summary:
The Caseworker, operating under direct supervision, plays a crucial role in supporting the AOBH Social Worker in meeting the treatment requirements of children and families. This position involves collaborating in the development and execution of suitable treatment plans for the youth and families assigned to their caseload. Responsibilities include evaluating and establishing a viable permanency plan for all youth under care, as well as providing clinical insights to enhance the therapeutic environment, ensuring optimal care for each individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documenting all interventions and necessary reports promptly and professionally.
- Coordinating all treatment services provided to each resident to guarantee appropriateness, timeliness, and effectiveness of interventions.
- Creating and organizing Independent Living (IL) activities and schedules.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related discipline.
- Preferred prior experience in social services, mental health, or child welfare sectors.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
