Job Overview

The Children's Village is seeking a highly skilled Woodfield Crisis Response Specialist to join our Crisis Response Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in monitoring youth movement and progress, and responding promptly to support in crisis situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete specialized internal training on emergency response interventions and procedures led by the Director of Safety and Security.
  • Utilize strong de-escalation skills and a trauma-informed approach to support youth in crisis.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of The Children's Village Values and Safe Crisis Management techniques.
  • Provide counseling techniques and support to youth in crisis.
  • Possess a strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required; minimum of five years of experience working with youth.
  • Detention or security experience preferred.
  • Security License preferred.
