About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team at Valcourt Building Services. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in account development, opportunity qualification, and pre-call planning.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities in the exterior maintenance industry.
  • Analyze market data and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, marketing, construction management).
  • 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in account development, opportunity qualification, and pre-call planning.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
