About the Role

At Keolis North America LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Diesel Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy equipment, including diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations, to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Drive Company Vehicles: Safely operate company vehicles, including heavy-duty service trucks, to transport equipment and personnel.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Five years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, with a focus on diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license, DOT medical card, and hoisting license required; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred.
