Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Safety Specialist to join our team at Western Partitions, Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program that meets or exceeds industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and employees to develop and implement safety procedures and protocols.
  • Provide training and education to employees on safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Investigate and document all incidents and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of safety within the organization, promoting a zero-incident work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry standards, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including contractors and vendors, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as occupational health and safety, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
