Job Title: Project Safety Coordinator

Western Partitions, Inc. (WPI) is a leading interior and exterior contracting firm in the Northwest, providing exceptional services for various construction projects. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Safety Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary

The Project Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment on our projects. This role will involve administering the WPI Safety Program, facilitating safety training, and investigating incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement site-specific health and safety plans
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
  • Facilitate safety training and equipment training for project personnel
  • Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions
  • Collaborate with project management and general contractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Develop and maintain training records and incident reports
Requirements
  • Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) designation (CST, CHST, OHST, STS-C, ASP)
  • Minimum 3 years of project safety experience on similar-sized projects
  • Strong understanding of EHS programs, practices, and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
