The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of projects from conceptual stages through closeout. You will work closely with our project team and preconstruction services to provide the best solutions for design-build projects ranging from $20 million to over $200 million.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of a Project Chart of Accounts with the project team and preconstruction services.
  • Coordinate with the Project Superintendent to develop a project site logistics plan.
  • Assist the Superintendent in managing subcontractors and maintaining an understanding of the Clayco/Owner contract.
  • Oversee the submittal, change order, and pay request process.
  • Assist in generating project costs and Job Cost Reports.
  • Contribute to the analysis and forecasting of quarterly Total Cost Projection reports.
  • Monitor and record training of all staff personnel.
  • Monitor project labor and report and track equipment needs.
  • Assist preconstruction services in bidding projects.
  • Implement applicable safety, EEO, and Affirmative Action programs.
  • Participate in the project's quality process.
  • Contribute to schedule and project close-out processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience managing construction projects with a strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Previous experience with set-up, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
  • Previous experience leading a successful project management team.
  • Creative and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi-floor scaffolding.
  • Ability to lift objects at least 50lbs.
