About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Backroom Operations Coordinator. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of merchandise onto the sales floor, while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Processing: Coordinate the receipt and processing of merchandise, ensuring that it is properly tagged, hung, and secured.
  • Team Management: Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles, and monitor their productivity to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards, and ensure that the backroom area is organized and clean.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management and Associates to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor, and provide progress updates as needed.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment.
  • Communication Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors, and respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Physical Demands: Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
