  • Program Planning: Prepare and coordinate the creation, modeling, and re-engineering of the Integrated Master Schedule for new or existing programs.
  • Schedule Management: Utilize applicable project management tools to implement network logic and measurement methods to perform critical path and risk analyses.
  • Business Rhythms: Establish and coordinate business rhythms required to accomplish program control, analyses, and forecasting objectives.
  • Communication: Communicate schedule impacts and propose corrective actions to applicable stakeholders.
  • Planning Products: Implement, maintain, and manage planning products in support of planning processes.
  • Network Analysis: Perform independent network analyses resulting in reports and metrics.
  • Quality Assessments: Conduct data and process quality assessments of planning products and prepare for surveillance reviews to ensure compliance with program performance management.
  • Schedule Integration: Maintain and coordinate vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the Integrated Master Schedule, and the Program Summary Master Schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Business Operations, and Program Management to translate authorized customer requirements into a performance measurement baseline.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes and status, and facilitate communication between partners.
  • Assist in negotiating hand-offs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required.
  • Serve as a liaison by maintaining, publishing, and presenting relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering.
  • Prepare reports or collaborate on creating custom schedule-related reports.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with planning tools (i.e., Open Plan, Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • Experience with critical path, path-to, and float analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience planning major programs from concept through delivery.
  • Experience leading a proposal.
  • 8-10 years of solid planning/scheduling experience.
Education:
  • Accredited HSD/GED.
Work Hours:
  • Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 1st Shift.
  • No OT Allowed for this position.
