Job Title: Member Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Member Service Representative to join our team at Navy Federal Credit Union. As a Member Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, answering their questions, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts and loans
  • Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection, and credit card applications
  • Counsel current and prospective members about Navy Federal's products and services
  • Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and increase product penetration
  • Perform platform banking functions
  • Understand and comply with federal and other regulations relating to financial products and services
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Working knowledge of savings and checking products, accounts, and services
  • Effective active listening skills to accurately respond to inquiries and account requests
  • Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in member/customer service preferably in a call center, retail banking, or financial institution
  • Experience in working in a credit union environment
Work Environment:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range:

$21.50 hourly to $25.00 hourly
