We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting customers with placing orders for our products, including pricing, quantity, delivery dates, and payment terms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and monitor incoming order requests and information from new and existing customers.
  • Research inquiries about pricing, technical questions, product specifications, availability, and lead times.
  • Process customers' orders via internal ERP system and other internal programs for order tracking, including order acknowledgment and invoicing.
  • Work closely with planning, shipping, and operations to determine appropriate order ship dates that best support the customers' expectations and internal capability to deliver.
  • Provide regular communication to customers regarding order status.
  • Communicate with internal team members on order updates/changes via established processes and systems in place.
  • Communicate with assigned Sales representatives on order status and delivery to key customers.
  • Arrange for customer-supplied materials required to build product and communicate with internal teams on status.
  • Maintain strong interpersonal relationships with customers and internal team members to facilitate communication between internal groups and customers.
  • Attend regular operations meetings and provide order updates to teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills in a professional environment.
  • Must be knowledgeable of company products and offerings.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess the ability to multitask, establish priorities, and work independently.
  • Ability to establish credibility and be decisive.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Proficient in problem-solving.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Customer Service position, preferably in a diagnostic, medical device, or biotech environment.
