Atlantic Health System is looking for dedicated Full-Time Patient Access Representatives to join our Patient Access Department. This role involves working Evening shifts, including every other weekend.
Role Summary:
The Patient Access Representative (PAR) is crucial in enhancing the patient and family experience, acting as the first point of contact within our healthcare system. The responsibilities include ensuring accurate data collection, effectively communicating patient obligations, and confirming precise patient identification, all of which are vital for the financial and operational efficiency of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients with a friendly demeanor and address them by name in a respectful and professional manner.
- Resolve patient inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Adapt to changes in the work environment and meet shift expectations.
- Handle challenging customer interactions with professionalism.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Relevant certifications as required for the role.
- Experience in customer service.
- Background in Revenue Cycle operations.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably EPIC.
