Position Overview:

In our mission to enhance financial security for individuals, the PMA Services Associate plays a vital role in fostering the ongoing partnership between Russell Investments, various financial sponsor firms, and our platform provider concerning the Personalized Managed Accounts (PMA) program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate communication among Russell Investments, our platform provider, and financial sponsors.
  • Resolve issues that arise between our platform provider, Russell Investments, and sponsors.
  • Execute corporate action elections as instructed.
  • Assist the sales team and/or advisors with client onboarding processes, including but not limited to:
    • Reviewing client documentation for completeness.
    • Addressing discrepancies in documentation and/or data.
    • Monitoring the PMA Services inbox regularly.
  • Develop and revise onboarding and maintenance forms.
  • Engage in proactive communication (via phone and email) with financial advisors to support client account onboarding and maintenance.
  • Track opened and pending accounts diligently.
  • Maintain and organize documents related to onboarded client accounts.
  • Act as a liaison between the portfolio trading team and our sales team and/or clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in investment management, custody, or fund administration is advantageous.
  • Licenses are not mandatory, but we are open to sponsoring Series 7 and 66 if performance standards are met.
  • Knowledge of Separately Managed Accounts is a plus.
  • Prior experience in the financial industry is preferred.
  • Experience in an operational role involving account openings and transactions is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with DocuSign.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively, with a structured decision-making process.
  • Evaluate issues through systems thinking, recognizing downstream effects and future implications to prioritize solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Ensure that the client's perspective is a key consideration in decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with team members and adapt to changing requirements.
