Core Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, corridors, elevators, and assigned areas.
  • Deliver requested items to guest rooms, ensuring a high level of service.
  • Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and health club facilities.
Team Structure
Reports to the Director of Housekeeping or Housekeeping Manager and collaborates with the Housekeeping team.

Key Duties
  • Perform physical tasks such as walking, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Strip beds, remove soiled linens, and manage waste disposal in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure guest rooms are tidy by checking under furniture and making beds as per standards.
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Dust and clean various surfaces, including furniture and kitchen areas.
  • Maintain bathroom cleanliness and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
  • Respond courteously to guest inquiries and report any concerns to management.
Qualifications
  • Ability to adapt to varying workloads based on hotel occupancy.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
  • Confidentiality in handling guest and hotel information.
Experience Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in hospitality or a similar environment preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
Other Expectations
  • Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
