Job Title: Housekeeping Specialist

Join the Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach team as a Housekeeping Specialist, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience. As a key member of our Housekeeping Department, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality in our rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management of Housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas of the department are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Respond to guest requests and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct room inspections and ensure that all rooms meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping team to develop and implement new procedures and processes to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Provide training and guidance to new team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of guest feedback and complaints, and work with the team to implement solutions to address any issues.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new initiatives and programs to enhance the guest experience.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Housekeeping team to discuss progress, share best practices, and address any challenges or concerns.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, with a focus on Housekeeping or a related field.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Salary Range: $25.00/hour
