SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care is seeking a highly skilled LPA Licensed Psychological Associate to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing holistic care to individuals with cognitive, developmental, or intellectual disabilities. Our evidence-based programs and therapies are designed to promote positive, active, and social lives for our clients.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct ongoing assessments to meet the needs of patients served
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, direct care staff members, family members, guardians, and collateral individuals regarding an individual's progress
* Provide a tentative schedule to supervisors of appointments, home visits, and observations for to monitor work advancement
* Coordinate home visits to meet the requirements of in-home observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis
* Ensure implementation of the program plan is effective and properly carried out
* Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other pertinent meetings as required
* Complete monthly and quarterly progress notes
* Organize trainings to certify staff and other team members are competent on the implementation of the program plan and/or documentation sheets
* Provide follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations for continued support of an individual's needs
* Maintain records to guarantee information is readily available to interested parties
* Act as liaison with the public and mental health community to provide support with development goals
* Assist in creating procedures for training materials to improve programs for individuals

Requirements:

* Experience with behavioral intervention, and/or a strong educational emphasis on the principles of learning and developmental psychology
* Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges

* MUST HAVE LPA WITH INDEPENDENT LICENSURE
* MASTERS DEGREE REQUIRED
* Any amount of experience with IDD clients in ICF and Waiver programs is a plus, as this is 95% of our client population. Those with counseling experience will have an opportunity to provide therapy services.

Salary Range:

USD $40.00 / Hour
