About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) to join our team at SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care. As an LPA, you will play a critical role in providing behavioral health services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and mental illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to meet the needs of patients served
  • Communicate with supervisors, direct care staff members, family members, guardians, and collateral individuals regarding an individual's progress
  • Provide a tentative schedule to supervisors of appointments, home visits, and observations for to monitor work advancement
  • Coordinate home visits to meet the requirements of in-home observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis
  • Ensure implementation of the program plan is effective and properly carried out
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other pertinent meetings as required
  • Complete monthly and quarterly progress notes
  • Organize trainings to certify staff and other team members are competent on the implementation of the program plan and/or documentation sheets
  • Provide follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations for continued support of an individual's needs
  • Maintain records to guarantee information is readily available to interested parties
  • Act as liaison with the public and mental health community to provide support with development goals
  • Assist in creating procedures for training materials to improve programs for individuals
Requirements
  • Experience with behavioral intervention, and/or a strong educational emphasis on the principles of learning and developmental psychology
  • Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
  • Masters degree required
  • Must have LPA with independent licensure
