Clinical Assistant Professor of School Psychology

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Assistant Professor of School Psychology to join our Department of Leadership, Technology, and Human Development at Georgia Southern University. This is a 10-month non-tenure-track appointment, and the salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities- Advise and mentor graduate students in the School Psychology program
- Participate in promoting student success and academic excellence
- Teach didactic and practical courses in school psychology, including cognitive assessment, behavioral assessment and intervention, program evaluation, crisis intervention, and field-based courses
- Participate in service activities across program, department, college, university, and professional levels
- Contribute to ongoing program assessment and development
- Earned doctorate in School Psychology or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in School Psychology by August 1, 2025
- One year experience in a school, clinical, or higher education setting (may be an internship or pre-doctoral experience)
- Eligibility for certification as a school psychologist in Georgia
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Ability to teach face-to-face and online courses
- Ability to use and model technology
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and candidates
- Clinical experience with school-aged children
- Experience using distance education technology
- National certification as a school psychologist (NCSP)
- Licensure eligibility as a psychologist in Georgia or as a psychologist or school psychologist in another state
