Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy to join our faculty at Georgia Southern University. As a member of our academic team, you will play a critical role in educating and mentoring students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and mentor students in the DPT program, with a focus on musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum, assessments, and educational programs.
- Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publication, and presentation.
- Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and professional development.
- Earned doctorate in physical therapy or a related field.
- Advanced physical therapy certification in a musculoskeletal specialty area.
- Active, unrestricted PT license and eligibility for a Georgia PT license.
- Contemporary expertise in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and education.
- Contemporary expertise in leadership, management, athletics, or pelvic health.
- Experience in teaching, clinical education, or research in physical therapy.
