A minimum of five years of pertinent administrative and operational experience in a supervisory role with populations in residential environments is essential. Familiarity with regulatory standards concerning clinical and behavioral interventions is necessary. Proven organizational and leadership abilities are required. Proficiency in computer usage and related software applications is essential. Candidates must consistently meet all background and credentialing criteria. A valid driver's license and dependable transportation for commuting to work sites and for client transportation to appointments and activities are mandatory. A reliable telephone system for emergency contact is also required.


Proficiency in English is essential, along with effective verbal and written communication skills when interacting with residents, staff, and service providers.

Candidates should demonstrate sound judgment and effective, solution-oriented problem-solving capabilities. The ability to cultivate and sustain professional relationships with residents, staff, colleagues, and supervisors is vital. A capacity to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups is also necessary.

Physical and Mental Demands:
Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting are required to fulfill job responsibilities. Candidates must be able to operate a motor vehicle safely as needed. Flexibility in work schedule is essential, contingent upon program requirements. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high-stress periods is crucial. Candidates must be capable of physically executing Crisis Prevention Intervention techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate programmatic and divisional needs.
  • Be prepared to work at various locations, providing a range of treatment services to diverse populations with limited notice.
  • Oversee, evaluate, and promote the professional development of staff.
  • Facilitate and participate in administrative, staff, and shift change meetings.
  • Act as an on-call administrator for designated programs.
  • Implement corrective action or startup plans for assigned programs, providing weekly updates on progress and needs.
  • Foster and maintain positive, productive working relationships with assigned staff, team members, and youth.
  • Ensure compliance with Medication Administration Policy, including conducting audits.
  • Complete and submit bi-weekly evaluations of assigned programs.
  • Demonstrate and model cultural awareness and sensitivity, respecting the diversity of others at all times.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week

Location:
Floating to various Juvenile Justice Programs

Salary: $70,000- $80,000
