Job Title: Administrative Specialist Senior

Join the Cabinet for Health and Family Services as an Administrative Specialist Senior and contribute to the success of our team

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to the Regional Program Manager and the Human Services Program Branch Manager of the Division of Health Care, Eastern Enforcement Branch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process complex federal and state survey packets for the Division of Health Care.
  • Assist the Complaint Coordinator by taking referrals and allegations from the public.
  • Conduct new employee orientation in the enforcement branches and ensure new hire packet is completed and submitted timely.
  • Monitor the completion of staff training and ensure training certificates have been filed.
  • Serve as a liaison between the agency, providers, and community to respond to questions and concerns.
  • Contact potential candidates for employment, schedules interviews and provides email confirmation for appointments.
  • Serve as time administrator for the branch.
  • Answer incoming calls and disseminate them to appropriate staff.
  • Responsible for mail handling and distributing mail for the office.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
Working Conditions:

This is an office position with a 5-day work week and is located in Lexington, KY (Fayette Co).
