Overview:

We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to become part of a dedicated and resilient nursing team committed to delivering high-quality patient care and achieving excellent health outcomes. A sign-on/retention bonus of up to $10,000 is available for qualified candidates.

Our areas of expertise encompass urology, colon-rectal surgery, general surgery, and renal disease management, including bedside peritoneal dialysis. We provide specialized training, including CORE EKG and PD classes, and utilize a primary care nursing model with a collaborative approach to meet the diverse needs of our patient population.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure optimal patient care through digital platforms that support daily care management.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and monitor patient progress from admission through discharge.
  • Apply clinical expertise, critical thinking, and case management principles to coordinate and support individualized care plans.
  • Ensure smooth transitions of care across various settings within the healthcare continuum.
  • Monitor departmental quality metrics and maintain accurate documentation in patient records.
  • Deliver quality care in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in nursing and clinical services.
  • Stay informed about healthcare economics, trends, and reimbursement methodologies, applying this knowledge to enhance daily practice.
  • Serve in multiple roles including mentor, clinician, educator, consultant, and navigator.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current licensure in the State of New York.
  • Preferred: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Specialty credentials and educational qualifications relevant to the nursing practice area are preferred.
  • Maintain all necessary licensures and certifications in accordance with state regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing education to enhance knowledge and skills related to specific nursing specialties.
