Position Overview:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for delivering expert nursing care to patients, families, and the broader community.
This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions while overseeing the duties of licensed practical nurses, support staff, and nursing students assigned to the unit.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist operates in various capacities including bedside care, education, medication administration, and care coordination. This position embodies the mission, vision, and values of SUNY Upstate Medical University and adheres to established policies and procedures.Essential Qualifications:
Must possess a valid NYS RN license/registration. Previous experience in an acute care setting is highly desirable. Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is mandatory.

Monday to Friday during daytime hours.
Compensation Information:
Salary Range:
$40.80 per hour
