Overview:


As a Hospitality Services Representative, you will serve as the initial and final point of contact for our esteemed guests, ensuring a remarkable experience from arrival to departure.

Your role encompasses assisting guests with door openings, managing traffic flow at the venue's entrance, and maintaining the overall tidiness of the entry area.

Moreover, you will provide support with luggage handling, escort guests to their accommodations, and offer comprehensive property orientations. You will also be responsible for the storage and retrieval of luggage, as well as the delivery of packages and other items throughout the premises.

Collaboration with Valet staff is essential to coordinate transportation and transfer needs for our guests.

Responsibilities:
Uphold the company's attendance standards.

Maintain a polished appearance and demeanor at all times, adhering to the company's uniform and grooming policies.

Engage in Sound Check meetings during each shift.

Communicate with the Front Office Manager regarding hotel operations to stay informed.

Possess thorough knowledge of property amenities, services, operational hours, in-house events, and conferences to proactively assist guests.

Always greet guests with a warm smile and friendly demeanor.

Initiate conversations with guests at the entrance and in lobby areas.

Ensure compliance with all hotel and departmental policies and procedures.

Project a professional image to employees, guests, clients, owners, and stakeholders.

Maintain an alert and attentive position at your post at all times.

Facilitate smooth traffic flow at the property entrance.

Assist guests entering and exiting vehicles by opening doors.

Welcome guests as they enter the property and provide farewell remarks to those departing.

Notify the Front Desk of VIP arrivals.

Proactively assist guests with their luggage throughout the property.

Provide directions to guests as needed.

Orient guests to the property while escorting them to their rooms.

Arrange luggage according to guest preferences, offer room orientation, and provide further assistance before departing.

Ensure that the entrance, lobby, and bell closet areas are kept clean and organized.

Assist individuals and groups with check-in, check-out, and room changes.

Deliver newspapers, messages, packages, mail, and other items to guest rooms, meeting spaces, and offices.

Store and retrieve luggage for guests.

Utilize bell carts effectively and with care.

Maintain the cleanliness and condition of bell carts.


Transport departing guests' luggage from their rooms to the lobby, ensuring all luggage is accounted for.

Upon departure, express gratitude to guests and invite them to return.

Request taxis and shuttles for guests as necessary.

Perform duties in accordance with company standards, policies, and applicable laws and regulations.


Work closely with the valet team to ensure efficient luggage handling and follow up on guest requests and inquiries.

Greet guests in all public areas of the property.

Assist guests in locating areas within the property by escorting them or providing clear directions.

Recognize and acknowledge others, including co-workers, supervisors, managers, and directors.


Participate in meetings to learn about global programs, new products, and procedures, and to discuss opportunities, special events, and other activities.

Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for both co-workers and guests.

Promote property outlets to guests.

Address guest complaints using established property procedures.

Create a positive environment that enables all employees to reach their full potential.

Maintain positive and professional communication with all staff.


Listen to feedback from guests, employees, and managers to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

Collaborate as a team, assisting all employees in completing tasks that ensure we deliver exceptional service.

Take the initiative to offer assistance throughout the property.

Operate ethically to uphold the Hard Rock brand.

Utilize programs designed to promote sustainability.

Perform additional duties as assigned by department managers and supervisors.

Communicate with supervisors and managers to ensure that assigned tasks are completed to standard.

Coordinate operations with other departments as needed.

Review and develop guest history records to enhance personalized service for returning guests.

Maintain confidentiality of guest, employee, and company information.

Qualifications:
A secondary school degree is preferred, along with a minimum of 2 years of prior service experience.

SKILLS
Ability to comprehend and utilize basic language, both written and spoken, to communicate information and ideas.

Ability to read, understand, and write simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to perform basic numerical operations including counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing.


Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers and staff, some of whom may require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.


Fluency in English:
Additional languages are preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to move throughout the business (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods.

Ability to perform repetitive movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.

Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.

Ability to obtain impressions through sight.

Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hands above shoulders.

Ability to regularly move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds / 25 kilograms.

Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing ability, and visual acuity.

Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.

Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environments.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Understanding of lifestyle hotel products and guest services.

Must be flexible to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
