Job Summary

This is a senior leadership position that oversees the financial management, information technology, risk management, and administrative functions of Friends of Acadia. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to develop and implement financial strategies, manage budgets, and ensure the organization's financial stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure the organization's financial stability and growth.
  • Oversee the management of financial resources, including investments, cash flow, and risk management.
  • Lead the development and implementation of information technology strategies to support the organization's operations and goals.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Board of Directors to develop and implement organizational strategies and policies.
  • Supervise and manage a team of financial and administrative staff to ensure the effective delivery of financial and administrative services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including funders, foundations, and partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business.
  • At least five years of experience in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Proven track record of financial management and leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA certification.
  • Experience in IT operations management.
  • Experience in commercial construction project management.
