We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Administration to join our team at Friends of Acadia. This leadership position will play a critical role in shaping the financial direction of our organization and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our mission.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives
- Collaborate with the CEO and Board of Directors to ensure effective financial management and governance
- Manage information technology, including ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data
- Supervise the Accounting Manager, Operations Manager & Systems Administrator, and provide back-up support as needed
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business, with at least five years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer
- 5-10 years of experience leading and managing teams
- Demonstrated experience working with Boards, Board Committees, and investment of organizational resources
- Strong people skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, highly collaborative environment
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- CPA certification
- IT Operations Management experience
- Experience with commercial construction project management
